These terms are between you and Calibre Digital, LLC, the operator of Stmtio (“we”, “us”), and describe the conditions for using Stmtio’s website, desktop application and account services. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Stmtio for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.
1. What Stmtio does
Stmtio helps convert bank-statement PDFs into reviewable transactions and CSV or Excel exports. Statement processing takes place on your computer. Account authentication, subscription management and page allowances use online services. Features, supported operating systems and statement compatibility are those described for the version you use; planned features are not a guarantee of availability.
2. Review results before relying on them
OCR and automated extraction can make mistakes, omit information or misinterpret a statement. You are responsible for checking transactions, amounts, dates, balances and exports against the original documents before using them for bookkeeping, reporting or other decisions. Stmtio is not a bank, accountant, tax adviser or financial adviser, and does not provide professional advice.
3. Accounts and permitted use
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and process only documents you own or are authorized to use. Do not circumvent usage limits, interfere with the service, access another user’s account or use Stmtio unlawfully. Third-party sign-in and payment services also have their own terms.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
Any paid subscription is governed by the price, currency, billing interval, allowance and taxes displayed at checkout. Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can manage an available subscription through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal, with access continuing through the paid period unless the checkout terms or applicable law require otherwise.
Free allowances are limited trials, not a promise of recurring free pages. Paid allowances follow the subscription period shown in your account; unused pages do not create a cash balance. New conversions require online allowance authorization. Once authorized, supported processing, review and export steps can continue locally, with usage updates synchronized when a connection is available.
For billing mistakes or refund requests, contact us. Refunds are subject to applicable law and any terms disclosed at purchase; these terms do not exclude mandatory cancellation or refund rights. Uninstalling Stmtio or disconnecting Google sign-in does not cancel a subscription.
5. Your files and privacy
You retain rights to your documents and exported data. Maintain suitable backups and protect the device where files are stored. Our Privacy Policy explains the distinction between local document processing and online account information.
6. Software and availability
You may use the application within your plan and these terms. Stmtio’s branding and software remain subject to their respective intellectual-property rights. Third-party and open-source components are governed by their applicable licenses, including notices supplied with the app.
Preview software may contain defects. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every statement, or error-free conversion. We may provide updates or restrict access where reasonably needed for security, legal compliance or material misuse.
7. Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will meet every requirement. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and keeping backups. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated date appears above, and material changes will be communicated where required. Changes do not remove rights already owed to you under applicable law.
